I stepped onto the mat in April 2009, and from the first pose that I was able to do, I realized that I found my passion. Being an on-the-go kind of person, always in motion, I had been searching for a way to slow down and focus inwardly.
Yoga classes, and later on my daily personal practice, began to provide for me that beautiful outlet by giving strength to the body, vitality to the spirit and tranquility to the mind.
After practicing yoga with commitment and devotion for 1 year, I knew in my heart, that I wanted to study and teach the philosophy of yoga. I earned my RYT 200 HRS certification from Namah Shivaya Yoga in Dallas, TX in April 2010, and am registered with Yoga Alliance.
I teach group classes and give private lessons, while maintaining my own daily practice and attending seminars, workshops and retreats that enhance my personal and professional growth.
I believe in sharing the gift of yoga on and off the mat. My style of Hatha yoga with Vinyasa flow incorporates yogic values of non-violence, compassion and gratitude. Combined with breath awareness, I consider yoga to be not just a work-out one takes part in once or twice a week, but a life-style.
I offer private Yoga instruction for kids, teens, stay-at-home moms, seniors or ANYONE who wants to experience the tremendous benefits of Hatha, Chair, Prenatal, Postnatal, or Restorative yoga, as well as Pranayama and Meditation.

I also teach regular group yoga classes at Express Fitness Health Club in Allen, Texas on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. and Fridays at 9:30 a.m.
